Miscellaneous Information
1) When the family moved from Indiana to Kansas, they took the train.  They first made camp south of Virgil, Greenwood Co, Kansas (per Jesse Ralph Boman).  They lived, at different times, in the areas of Keck, New Albany and Independence, Kansas (per Charles Monroe Boman obituary).

2) We have a copy of Charles's WWI draft registration card (12 Sep 1918). 

3) We have a copy of Charles and Edna May's marriage certificate

4) Edna May divorced Charles on 11 Sep 1929. 

5) Wife (2) of Charles Monroe Boman: Dora E Dehlinger - born 06 Sep 1878 Virgil, Greenwood, KS; died 06 Oct 1970 Eureka, Greenwood, KS; funeral card, obituary, death certificate; cause of death: acute myocardial infarction, arteriosclerosis; buried Janesville Cemetery, Hamilton, Greenwood, KS; tombstone photo; on 14 Feb 1898 in Greenwood Co, KS Dora married (1) to Fred L Johnson on 14 Feb 1898 Greenwood Co, KS; daughter of Charles F Dehlinger (newspaper article) and Marguerite Kraft or Goff; see photo of Dora below; signature:

In about 1967, Dora Boman gave Dean Boman (Valerie's husband) a beautiful quilt that she made.  It is still in our possession at this time. 

6) We have a copy of Charles's will.  

7) We have a copy of Charles's obituary; cause of death: ventricular fibrolitis.  The obituary states that Charles and May had a total of eight children, four of which died in infancy.
