Joseph Wilson Snow, son of Abram and Julia Park Snow was born in Green County, Illinois, September 19, 1864 and departed this life July 22, 1953. His age at death was 88 years, 10 months and 3 days.

On January 3, 1899 he was united in marriage to Miss Lucy (Lucinda) McKee, daughter of Robert and Mary Ellen Beasley McKee, who preceded him in death in 1909. To this union three children were born; George, who preceded Mr. Snow in death, Mrs. Maude Richison, Bakersfield, Calif.; and Mrs. Opal Hurt, St. Louis, MO

In 1911 he was married to Miss Zella McKee, sister to Lucinda McKee. To this union eight children were born; Ada who passed away in 1928, Mrs. Virgie Richison, Rolla, MO; Artie Trout, Kinderpost, MO; Sanford Snow Licking, MO; Henry Snow, address unknown, Virginia Mae Wrest , Sherrill, MO; Wanda Lee Snow of the home. His widow and the above named children are left to mourn his passing. He leaves 27 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren, with a host of loved ones and friends who join the sorrowing family in their grief today.

He was converted and joined the Baptist Church in 1909. Most of his long life has been spent in and around Licking, where he was known as a hard worker and a respected citizen. Our prayers are with the bereaved family today.

Funeral services for Mr. Snow were held from the First Baptist Church on Friday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Dewey W. Graves, Pastor officiating. Burial was in the Mitchell Cemetery under the direction of Smith and Ferguson Funeral Home, Licking.
