T. H. Scudder Dies at Prescott, Arizona. Message received Saturday morning-Body Expected Wednesday. Was a well known Farmer

Tilghman H. Scudder, a well known farmer of Brandywine Township, this county, died Friday night at a hospital in Prescott, Arizona. Mr. Scudder had been in poor health for two years as a result of an attack of the grippe and went to Prescott several months ago for his health. The change did not benefit him, however.

Mr. Scudder was formerly a trustee of his township and farmed on an extensive scale and also formerly operated a threshing machine. He owned the farm and had one of the most beautiful and (not readable)…farms in the county, up-to-date in every way.

He is survived by the widow, his second wife, and four children, two by the first marriage and two by his last. One sister, Mrs. Robert Scott, also survives

The body is expected to arrive from Prescott about Wednesday.
