Death Notice - Alexis Nevaeh Thompson

A 2-year-old girl from Raleigh, N.C., was killed Saturday morning in a crash in Fluvanna County. 

State police said Alexis Thompson suffered fatal injuries when a sport utility vehicle crashed into the car in which she was riding. The crash occurred on state Route 659, just south of state Route 610, at 10:55 a.m. Thompson, who was wearing a seat belt, died at 11:45 a.m. at University of Virginia Medical Center, police said.
