Lee H. Shutters, 83, of Sarasota, died Sept. 19, 2009.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Oct. 2 at First Congregational United Church of Christ, 1031 S. Euclid Ave. Arrangements are by Jennings Funeral Home and Crematory.

Lee H. Shutters, 83, of Sarasota, Fla. formerly of Quakertown, Pa., died
September 19, 2009. He was born in Logansport, Ind., grew up in Bucks
County, served in the Army Air Force from 1944-1946 stationed in Alaska. Lee
worked at the US Gauge in Sellersville for 15 years and then worked for
Harleysville National Bank for 20 years, retiring in 1987. He was active for
over 60 years in the American Legion Post 242 in Quakertown, Pa. Survivors:
Wife of 53 years, Audrey; daughter, Sandra Theiss of Sarasota, Fla.;
brother, Richard Shutters and his wife, Connie of Quakertown, Pa.; sister,
Jane McCullough of Lansdale, Pa.; four nieces and three nephews.
