per William L Fielder:

Cousin Lula Peachee made this card in honor of Delphi Marie Fielder, daughter of Mamie Andis and William Fielder.
She dated it April 27, 1911. It is a poem on one side and letter on other.
Lula wrote many poems. She loved her Aunt Mamie and Uncle Will, as she called them.

The Angel of Peace
In Loving Remembrance OF
(verse written in Holy Bible)
Delphia Fielder
born Sept. 14, 1909 died Sept.27, 1910
age 1 year 19 days.

We had a little treasure once.
She was our joy and pride.
We loved her , AH! perhaps too well,
For soon she slept and died.
All is dark within our dwelling.
Lonely are our hearts today.
For the one we loved so dearly,
Has forever passed away.

Letter on the reverse: Worthington April 27, 1911
My Dear Aunt. Hope this finds all well, tell Uncle Will I said hello. I have been feeling bad but I feel better now; mamma and James are not well. Jim has been down to Coras, her and Oliver are well. Aunt Mamie I made this card for you in remembrance of Little Delphia, this isn't very good, but the best I could do. X X X X Your loving niece, Lula E. Peachee

Addressed to: Mrs. Mamie Fielder Elnora, Ind.
