At this time we do not know the original owner of the Bible from which these pages came. It was published in 1856 - therefore possibly belonging to Abraham and Mary (Moor) Andis.  With only a few exceptions, it is clearly the writing of the same person.  Because it begins with the dates of birth, marriage and death for Abraham and his wife, we believe it came from the line of Abraham Andis, likely down through his daughter Eleanor. In 2009, it was given to Joseph Lee Maness by his father Joseph Claude "J C" Maness.  Joseph Lee Maness does not know the trail before that time.  We appreciate Joseph sharing this very important part of the family's history.
