Miscellaneous Information
1) We have a copy of Levi and Sally's marriage license and documentation of the marriage.

2) Wife of Levi Andis: Sally Low - no information. * In Clark Co, IL (1850 Federal Census), there is a Sally Low (age 22) that is enumerated with Ephraim Low and family.  We cannot prove that this is "our" Sally, but the age and location do match.

3) Service records in the National Archives state that Sally and Levi had two children, but they were both dead by the time Levi died, and were not named.

4) From service and pension records that we viewed in the National Archives:
Levi was a private in Co E, 85th Indiana Infantry during the Civil War.  He enlisted 02 Sep 1862.  He died at Annapolis, MD on 07 Apr 1863.  We also have approximately 6 pages of various documents and records that were in his pension file.  If you need any of them, e-mail us.

5) Levi's cause of death: Typhoid pneumonia
