OOLITIC � Jerry L. Puckett, 65, of Oolitic, died Friday at his residence. 

He was retired from the Burlington Northern Railroad in Chicago. 

Survivors include two sons, Michael L. Puckett of Spring City, Tenn., and Gary A. Puckett of Marietta, Ga., and two brothers, Bob Boling of Indianapolis and Paul Boling of Oolitic. 

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Day & Carter Mortuary in Bedford. Burial will be at Patton Hill Cemetery. 

Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Feb. 3, 1939 - Oct. 15, 2004 

OOLITIC - Jerry L. Puckett, 65, of 308 Milwaukee Avenue, Oolitic, passed away at 3 p.m. Friday, October 15, at his residence. 

Born on February 3, 1939, in Lawrence County, he was the son of Ruby Puckett. 

He retired from the Burlington Northern Railroad in Chicago, and he was of the Pentecostal Faith. 

Survivors include two sons, Michael L. Puckett of Spring City, Tenn., and Gary A. Puckett of Marietta, Ga.; two brothers, Bob Boling of Indianapolis and Paul Boling of Oolitic; and three grandchildren, Ashley Puckett, Leah Puckett and Bradley Puckett. 

He was preceded in death by his mother and one sister, Beverly Brassine. 

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 19, from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary of Bedford. Burial will follow in the Patton Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the mortuary.
