HOSS, NEVEDA A. GARRETT Nevada A. Garrett Hoss, 80, of Bristol, Va., died Thursday, April 18, 2002, at Bristol Regional Medical Center.

She was a lifelong resident of Washington County, and was the daughter of the late Lee and Rhonda Kaylor. She was a retired employee of Hess Department Store and a member of the Washington County Extension Club. Mrs. Hoss was a member of Beaverview Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Reba Holzharver; and a brother and sister-in-law, Cleason and Sis Garrett. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, C.H. Hoss; daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Frank Beale and Carolyn and Tom Custer; son and daughter-in-law, Don and Penny Hoss; brother and sister-in-law, Howard and Edith Garrett; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandsons.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roy Yelton, Rev. Haynes Watson and Rev. Kenneth Widner. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons Tony Hoss, Donnie Hoss, Eric Haga, Brad Haga, Shawn Custer, Justin Hawkins and Mike Noell. The family will receive friends Friday 7 to 9 p.m. at Weaver Funeral Home.
