     Harvey Eads JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. Paul Harvey Eads, age 51, passed away on Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, at Johnson City Medical Center. Harvey was born on April 23, 1961, in Bristol, Tenn., a son of the late Paul and Stella Worley Eads. Harvey lived in the greater Tri-Cities area most of his life and was a graduate of East Tennessee State University. He attended church at Tri-Cities Baptist Church, was an avid golfer and never met a stranger. Survivors include his sister, Sharon Houchins and husband, Emory; brothers, Jeff Eads and wife, Dianna and Kevin Eads; devoted friend, Carolyn Eads; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. The funeral service for Mr. Eads will be held at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mike Laughlin officiating. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m., Sunday, prior to the funeral service. The committal service and entombment will be held at 11 a.m., Monday in Mausoleum Chapel at Mountain View Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Marty Eads, Tim Eads, Rick Eads, Dwayne Eads, Allen Cullop, Mike Eads, John Smith and Gary Crutchfield. Honorary pallbearers will be Mary Ellen Mitchell, Theresa Barb and Kathy Vasquez. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Chris Elliott Fund For Glioblastoma Brain Tumor Research. Please mail memorials to The Chris Elliott Fund, 704 228th Ave. NE #254, Sammamish, WA 98074. Arrangements have been made with Weaver Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
