Mishawaka—Sterns F. “Windy” Landry, 80 of South Virgil Street, died Thursday in Hospice House of St. Joseph county. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy (Meehan); a daughter Carol Skeen of Mishawaka; four sons, Sterns F. jr. of Orlando, Fla., Richard of Kent, Wash., Donald of South Bend, and Dennis of Elkhart; a stepson, Daniel Hairell of South Bend; and a brother Robert of Franklin, Mass. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday in Palmer Funeral Home, South Bend. There will be no visitation.

Stearns F. “Windy” Landry, 80, residing on South Virgil Street, Mishawaka, Ind., died at 5:35 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 11, in Hospice House. Mr. Landry retired in 1988 from Mishawaka Parks Department. He was born on June 7, 1919 in Franklin, Mass., and had lived here since 1956.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy Meehan Landry; a daughter, Carol Skeen of Mishawaka; four sons, Stearns F. Landry jr. of Orlando, Fla., Richard Landry of Kent, Wash., Donald Landry of South Bend and Dennis Landry of Elkhart, Ind.; a stepson, Daniel Hairell of South Bend; twelve grandchildren, Victoria Sandoval, John Ramirez, Rick Jones,  Jennifer Landry, Beck Landry, Matthew Landry, Shane Landry, Shannon Landry, Shelly Landry, Shawn Landry, Michelle Hughes, and Brian Landry twelve great grandchildren; Robert Fuentes, Christina Fuentes, Veronica Fuentes, Angelina Jones, Alex Pedraza, Tony Jones, Tammy Hairell, Misty Hairell and Danny Hairell, Todd Hughes, Ashley Ramirez, and Sierra Landry; seven great- great grandchildren, Enrique Fuentes, Roberto Fuentes, jr., Lupe Salazar III, and Fernando Fuentes., Alexandria Landry, Jasmin Landry and Joel Landry; and by one brother, Robert Landry of Franklin, Mass.
Mr. Landry was a World War II Navy Veteran.
 Memorial services for Mr. Landry will be at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 14, at 1 p.m. in the Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend. Cremation will take place. There will be no visitation.
