BRISTOL, Va. - Betty Jane Worley Eads, age 75, of 10039 Reedy Creek Road, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 30, 2008, at her residence after a lingering illness.

She was born Aug. 28, 1932, a daughter of the late Robert and Mary Goins Worley and had lived her life in the Bristol area. She was a member of Walter Mountain Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thurman Eads.

She is survived by her daughters, Mary Ellen Mitchell and son-in-law Daniel and Lisa Karen Coffey and son-in-law Robbie; sons, Rick Eads and daughter-in-law Theresa and Wayne Eads and daughter-in-law Hope; brother, Ellis Worley; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, June 2, 2008, in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Billy Denton officiating. The burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Eric Coffey, Chris Fleenor, Phil King, Michael Mix, Aaron Harlow, Kevin Eads, Wayne Stout, David Agnew, Jeff Eads and Harvey Eads.
