Obituary - Beulah Alberta (Sanders) Hamlin

Beulah A. Hamlin, 79, resident of Spencer, died Saturday, December 16, 1995 at Bloomington Hospital.

Born July 4, 1916 in Burns City, Martin County, Indiana, she was the daughter of Homer and Edna (Andis) Sanders. She was a housewife and had worked in the bakery at Babbs SuperValu. She was custodian of the Spencer Nazarene Church for 40 years.

Survivors include three daughters, Barbara Buker of Bloomington, Joan Marsh of Spencer and Norma Abbitt of Ellettsville; three sons, Dave Hamlin and Don Hamlin, both of Spencer and Steve Hamlin of Bloomington; two sisters Martha Franklin of Spencer and Dorothy Lofstrom of North Carolina; 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 19 at Spencer Nazerene Church. The Rev. Bryan Solomon will officiate. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. today at West and Parrish and Pedigo Funeral Home and from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday December 19 at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Spencer Nazarene Church in care of the funeral home.

Miscellaneous:
Henry Sanders came to visit his niece Minnie Poe in Maplewood, IL. Once he brought his daughter Ollie. They came by train to St. Louis and walked across the bridge to Minnie's home.
