STIMSON, Claude (Buddy) Stimson, 81, of Summerville, SC, husband of Norma Goshorn Stimson, died July 12, 2004 at a local hospital.

Funeral services will be held Thursday morning, July 15, 2004 in Bethany United Methodist Church at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Summerville Cemetery. Friends may call at PARKS FUNERAL HOME, SUMMERVILLE, SC, this Wednesday evening from 6 - 8 p.m. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels, P.O. Mr. Stimson was born March 10, 1923 in Rogers, Arkansas, a son of Claude Jerome Stimson and Marie Barcus Stimson Darting. He was retired from the Charleston Naval Shipyard. He was a US Air Force veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was an active member of Bethany United Methodist Church.

Among his survivors are his wife of Summerville, SC; two daughters, Connie Stevens and her husband, Bob and Bonnie Olsen and her husband Randy all of Summerville; one son, Jerry Stimson and his wife Linda of Summerville; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Marge Snyder of Albuquerque, NM.
