Obituary - Evea Ellen (Fleenor) Adams

Evea Ellen Adams, 93, Rupert, Idaho, died June 20, in Minidoka Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Mendota, Virginia, the daughter of Isaac and Daisy Gobble Feenor. As a small child she moved with her family to Bellingham, Wash., where she attended schools.

She received her bachelor of arts degree from Bellingham Teachers College and her master's degree from San Francisco State University and taught school for many years in Oregon and California.

She married Robert S. Adams in 1924. She served in the WACS during World War II in the Weather Observer Corps.

Mrs. Adams moved to Rupert in 1956 and homesteaded on the North Side Project. In later life she ranched in Langell Valley, Oregon and Cottonwood, California.

She is survived by a son, Robert S., Jr.; daughter, Fanny Bryngelson, both Minidoka County; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She ws preceded in death by her husband, in 1961; one brother and two sisters.

A graveside service will be at Rupert Cemetery with military graveside rites under the direction of the V.F.W. and the D.A.V.
