Obituary - Fred Eastel "Freddie" Kaylor

MR. FRED EASTEL KAYLOR, age 64, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2008
in the Bristol Regional Medical Center.


He was born on June 23, 1944 in Mendota, Virginia and was a lifelong
resident of the area. He was a son of the late Charlie Kaylor and Lillie
Mae Pippin Kaylor. He enjoyed CB Radios and riding motorcycle in his
earlier years. He attended Observation Knob Park Church and was a
former employee of Dutt & Wagner in Abingdon. In addition to his
parents he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.


Survivors include his wife, Freda Gail Glover Kaylor; son, Freddy Kaylor
of Bristol, VA; daughters, Patricia Sandefur and husband, Thomas of
Bristol, VA and Tammy Rouse of Bristol, VA; five grandchildren; sister,
Mildred Potter of Bluff City, TN; several nieces and nephews; and his
former wife, Norma Jean Kaylor.


Funeral Services for Mr. Fred Kaylor will be conducted at 7 P.M.
Saturday, December 20, 2008 in the Frost Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
Bill Nelson officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday
evening from 5 P.M. until service time. Burial will be at 2 P.M. Sunday
at the Riverview Cemetery in Mendota. Pallbearers will be Joseph
Sandefur, Larry Fleenor, Larry Pippin, Lee Hobbs, Frankie Castle and
Ronnie Blevins. Honorary Pallbearers will be Benny Castle, Rick McGee,
John Russell, Roger Kennedy, Gerald Barker and Kenny Hobbs.
