Mrs. Hattie Baldwin-Hunt Passes Away
Mrs. Hattie May Baldwin-Hunt passed away in Oklahoma City, at 2 a. m., a week after the birth of a sweet little daughter, Irma May, on May 1. The deceased was born at Vining, Kansas, November 2, 1888. She came to Edmond with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. D.D. Baldwin of this city, in 1903, residing here until the time of her marriage to Paul V. Hunt, since which time she had resided in Oklahoma City. Mrs. Hunt grew to womanhood in Edmond, where she was greatly loved and esteemed by a large circle of friends. Possessed of sweet and loving ways and a charming personality, her friends were numerous and sincere. She was educated in the Edmond public schools and in Central State Normal. She was a member of the Christian church for fifteen years and lived the life of a consistent Christian. She leaves to mourn her untimely death, her husband, two daughters, Pauline Fern and Irma May, her parents and one sister, Lenora. The funeral services were held from the Christian church in Edmond, at 3:30 Sunday afternoon, conducted by Rev. E.T. Lane, assisted by Rev. O.B. Morris. Interment followed at Gracelawn cemetery. The sympathy of the community is extended the bereaved.
