James "Jim" Farmer James 'Jim' Farmer, 66

LAUREL - James "Jim" Farmer, formerly of New Castle, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2009, in Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. He was 66. He was born in Lee County, Va., a son of the late Lawrence Farmer and Geneva Farmer of New Castle. He retired as a concrete finisher and was a member of Bayshore Community Church in Millsboro. He is survived by his wife, Frances Farmer of Laurel; along with numerous extended family members. A Memorial Service will be 3 p.m. Monday, July 13 at Bay Shore Community Church, 36759 Millsboro Hwy., Millsboro. Arrangements are in the care of the Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home, Laurel.
