Jeanne Clair Trombley

SPOKANE - Funeral services for Jeanne Clair Trombley, who died on July 30, will be Wednesday, Aug. 2, at 2 p.m. at Sherman Funeral Home in Newport. She was 67. Burial will take place following the services at Newport Cemetery.

She was born to Edward and Gladys Gilpin in The Dalls, Ore. on Sept 25, 1921.  On Nov. 23, 1939, she married Richard Trombley, a former Albeni Falls Dam operator, in Grand Coulee, Wash. He died in December 1984.  She lived in this area since 1952, loving to garden and knit.

A son, Corky Trombley, preceded her in death in 1965, as well as a granson, Eric, in 1968.
Survivors include son Jim Trombley of Anchorage, Alaska; brother, Dewey Lane of Port Townsend, Wash., and two grandsons, James and Brian.
