Kathy Jo Andis, 57, of Bedford, died at 10:34 p.m. Friday at Bloomington
Hospital.
Born Aug. 3, 1951, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Paul Kern and Elizabeth "Betty" (Mitchell) Kern Croy.
She worked at the Indiana University School of Law in payroll and bookkeeping for 20 years. She was a graduate of Oakland City University.
She was a member of the Eagle's Women's Auxiliary in Bedford.
She was a very caring individual, thinking of everyone else first. She will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her mother, Elizabeth "Betty" Croy of Bedford; one daughter, Kristie Cauble (Bryan) of Orleans; two sons, Scott Huff (Amy) of New Whiteland and Michael Huff of Bloomington; grandchildren, Michael Lee Jarvis of Paoli, Amber Toliver of Campbellsburg, Haylee Huff, Connie Huff and Courtney Huff, all of Bedford, Joseph Huff, Jessica Huff and Jeffery Huff, all of New Whiteland, and Natasha and Montana Cauble, both of Shelbyville; a great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Toliver of Campbellsburg; one brother, Larry Kern, of Florida; her fiancee, Wayne Thacker of Bedford; and several nieces and nephews.
Her father, Paul Kern; and stepfather, Audley Croy, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home in Bedford. Burial will be at Mitchell Cemetery in Monroe County.
