GRAY - Mabel Ellen Morrison Bellamy , 84, 540 Old Stage Road, passed away Saturday (March 1, 2003) at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center after a brief illness.

Born in Lebanon, Va., on September 26, 1918, she resided in Kingsport most of her life. Mrs. Bellamy retired from Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center in 1984 and was a member of First Baptist Church of Kingsport. She was the daughter of the late Garnett and Nannie Mae Morrison.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl C. Bellamy ; son, Thomas Cranston Bellamy ; daughter-in-law, Margaret Church Bellamy ; sister, Margie Hubbard; and brother, Glen Morrison.

Surviving are her grandchildren, Lee Bellamy , Johnson City, Thomas Bellamy and wife Amanda, Gray; great grandchild, Dalton Thomas Bellamy , Gray; brother, William Morrison and wife Ann, Bristol, Tenn.

Calling hours are from 5:30 to 7 p.m. today at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport.

Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. today in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Ron Davis officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Oak Hill Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Valen Miller, James Deakins, Jason Pendleton, Matt Pendleton, Robert Craig and Greg McInturff.
