MABEL M. ANDIS
Mabel Myrtle Andis, 82, was born March 9, 1894, at Geary to Mr. and Mrs.
Israel W. Law, and died July 16. 1976, in Deaconess Hospital, Oklahoma City,
after a short illness.
Mrs. Andis was a resident of Geary most of her life until she moved to Bethany
about eight years ago.
She was a member of the Free Methodist Church, Geary.
She and Perle Emmett Andis were married October 4, 1916, at Geary. Her husband
preceded her in death in 1968.
Mrs. Andis is survived by all eight of her children: four daughters, Mrs. Byron
(Ramona) Wayman, Tulsa, Mrs. Eldon (Ruth) Martin, Watonga, Mrs. Garnett (Euseba)
Quinn, Bethany, Marlyn Knapp, Yukon; four sons, Emory G. Andis, Norman, Perle
Emmett Andis, Jr., Yukon, Jim Andis, Norman, David L. Andis, Crown Heights, PA;
three sisters, Ina Thomas, Woodward and Bessie McCool and Mildred Brateal, both
of Sheridan, Ark; one brother, Walter Law, Lyons, KS; one aunt, Jessie Crothers,
Watonga; 27 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and other relatives.
