67, of Springfield died at 5:30 p.m. Friday at St. John's Hospital.
She was born Aug. 2, 1925, in Springfield, the daughter of August and Nora
Colburn Hedrick. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and George
Hedrick.
She was formerly employed by Springfield School District 186 for 33 years,
retiring in 1991. Surviving are three brothers, Carl A. Hedrick of San Leandro,
Calif., Kenneth L. and Richard J. Hedrick, both of Decatur; two sisters, Lillian
M. Vowels and Pauline E. Nichols, both of Springfield; an aunt; several nieces
and nephews.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Vancil Memorial Funeral Chapel, with Dr. Roger Rominger officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
