Obituary - Melvin Hagy Sproles
Melvin Hagy Sproles, son of the late Winifred Sproles, was a graduate of
Castlewood High School. He was preceded in death by one brother, the Rev.
Kenneth Sproles.
He is survived by one daughter, Autumn Burke and husband Dwayne of Nickelsville, Va.; one son, Christopher Kelly Sproles and wife Melissa of Connecticut; father, Guy Sproles of Lebanon; one sister, Carolyn Winebarger of Lebanon; four brothers, Raymond Sproles and wife Ann of Aberdeen, N.C., Ronnie Sproles and wife Janie of Dante, Ralph Sproles and wife Cathy of Dante, and Tim Sproles and wife Molly of Burke, Va.; one sister-in-law, Betty Sproles of Abingdon; two grandchildren, Zachary Burke and Sierra Burke; and several nieces and nephews. Committal service was at Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, Va.
