JESSEE Ollie Mae

Ollie Mae Jessee, 96, of Toledo, passed away in the arms of her daughters and on the wings of her preceded angels, on Wednesday, July 5, 2006, in Orchard Villa Nursing Home. 

Ollie was born in Bristol, Virginia on June 25, 1910, to Charles and Bessie (Fleenor) McCroskey. She was the widow of Habron Jessee who preceded her in death in 1951. 

Mrs. Jessee was employed in the kitchen at The Inn Restaurant at the Sports Center until its closing. 

Surviving are her children, Juanita Ballinger, Kenneth Jessee, Carolyn (Richard) Friess, Sharon Marquette; sisters, Betty Gatton, Audrey Pippin, Clara Booher; grandchildren, Terry, Toby, Tammy, Scott, Michael, Vince, Juanita, Ginger, Cameo and Jennifer; 18 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Raymond, Paul and Coy McCroskey; sisters, Beulah Leonard, Nora Pippin, Minnie Mumpower; sons, Hubert and Vernon Jessee and grandson, Thomas Jessee. 

Family and friends may visit from 2 to 9 pm on Sunday in the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Fun-eral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., where funeral services will be conducted on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Lake Township Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at Orchard Villa, her grandson, Toby and son-in-law, Richard, for their loving care.
