Obituary - Phillip Wilford Heller

Phillip W. Heller, 41 years old, of Pueblo drowned Tuesday afternoon, August 8, when a gravel loading machine he was operating fell into a pit behind Runyon Field at Pueblo. Unsuccessful efforts were made by four men to rescue Heller. 

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Edna May Heller of the family home, eight children, two sisters, four brothers and his parents. Heller moved, when a small boy, to Westcliffe with his parents, and later moved to Pueblo. He was a veteran of World War II. He served overseas in Europe and Africa. 

Funeral Services were held at Rouch Chapel in Pueblo on Friday, Aug. 11, with the Rev. Lee Greer officiating. Interment was at Westcliffe with full military honors."
