Rupert - Robert Steele Adams Jr., 79, of Paul, died at his home March 31, 2004, with his daughter by his side.

He was born January 19, 1925 ,in Klamath Falls, Oreg., the son of Robert S. Sr. and Evea Ellen Adams.

Bob served in the US Navy from 1943-1946 as an air gunner. He married Janeil Boyd on February 1, 1948, in Tulelake, Calif. They were later divorced. She preceded him in death on August 19, 2001. He married Barbara Arstein and later divorced. Bob was a farmer north of Paul and Rupert for most of his life. One of his greatest joys was flying his airplane and he dearly loved his grandchildren. He was an active member of the Rupert Elks, Paul Masons, and he was also a Shriner.

He is survived by his children, Robert (Sonya) Adams of McCall, Molly (Dan) Kloer of Paul, and James (Kayleen) Adams of Kimberly; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren with more on the way; and one sister, Fanny (Allen) Bryngelson.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial services will be held at the Rupert Elks Lodge at 1 p.m. Monday, April 5, 2004 with military rites following under the direction of the local veterans. Interment will be at a later date in Merrill, Ore.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Primary Children's Hospital for genetic research.

The family would like to thank all his friends at the Rupert Elks, Masons, and Shriners. Also a special thanks to little Darlene. We love you Boppy Bell.
