BRISTOL, Va. - Stella Mae Eads, age 71, went to be with the Lord Friday, Nov. 17, 2006, at Wellmont Hospice House. She was born in Washington County, Va., and was a daughter of the late Robert M. and Elizabeth Goins Worley. She was the widow of Paul Eads and was also preceded in death by her brother, Roosevelt Worley. Mrs. Eads was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Sharon Houchins and husband Emory of Kingsport; three sons, Harvey Eads of Knoxville, Tenn., Jeffrey "Jeff" Eads and wife Dianna of Bristol Virginia and Kevin Eads of Chilhowie; one sister, Betty Eads of Bristol Virginia; one brother, Ellis Worley of Bristol Virginia; six grandchildren, Johnathan Eads, Brittany Bales, Lauren Houchins, Morgan Houchins, Kristen Eads and Tyler Eads; one great-grandson, John Paul David Eads; and several nieces and nephews.

The committal service and interment will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 20, 2006, in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tyler Eads, Johnathan Eads, Ricky Eads, Dwayne Eads, Bradley Vasquez, Travis Barb, Jason Barb and Daniel Mitchell. Honorary pallbearers will be Lynn Smith, Doug Breeding and David Meade.
