KIRBYVILLE – Thomas Harvey Palmer Sr., 79, of Kirbyville died at 2:20 a.m.
Friday, July 25, 1980 at Shady Acres Nursing Home after an illness.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Causey's E. E. Stringer Funeral
Home with burial in Kirbyville Cemetery.
A native of Cushing, Texas, he had lived in the Kirbyville area most of his life
and was a retired millwright for Kirby Lumber Co.
Survivors include his wife, Maggie Vera Palmer of Buna; one daughter, Gwen Brown
of Kirbyville; two sons, T. H. Palmer Jr. of Nederland and Henry L. Palmer of
Woodville; one brother, Eugene A. Palmer of Kirbyville; 17 grandchildren; and
six great-grandchildren.
