EADS, THURMAN Funeral services for Thurman Eads will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. in Weaver Funeral Home Chapel. The Revs. Donald Denton and Robert Coffey will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Mr. Eads, 67, of 10039 Reedy Creek Road, Bristol, VA, died Monday, Sept. 13, 1999. He was born in Bristol and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of Walker's Mountain Independent Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Betty Eads; two daughters, Mary Ellen Mitchell of Blountville and Lisa Coffey of Bristol Tennessee; two sons, Ricky Eads and Wayne Eads, both of Bristol Virginia; three brothers, Paul Eads, R. D. Eads and Billy Eads, all of Bristol; four sisters, Lois Stewart, Edna Denton, Iva Worley and Ida Cullop, all of Bristol; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Nathan Mitchell, Eric Coffey, Charles Balthis, Bill Balthis, Hiram Taylor, Earl Poe, Danny Tate and Bruce Malcolm Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be men of Walker's Mountain Independent Baptist Church.
