Vivian Irene (Saville) Kingen, 87, passed away on July 9, 2009 at Miller's Merry Manor in Indianapolis.

She was born April 4, 1922 to the late Jesse R. and Irene V. (Scotten) Saville. She married J. Fred Kingen on June 20, 1941 in Hancock County. Vivian retired from Electra Corporation in 1978, following ten years of service. She was also a homemaker, a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Indianapolis, Wilkinson Brotherhood & Sisterhood, and she enjoyed missions and archiving.

She was preceded in death by her husband; and sister, Rosella Shull.

Mrs. Kingen is survived by her daughters: Carmen D. (Norman K.) Phillips of New Palestine; Connie L. (Ronald E.) Andis of South Bend; Janice V. (Ronald R.) Carlton of Indianapolis; and Brenda L. (David A.) Linn of Indianapolis; grandchildren: Tamara (Todd) Burgess; Rebecca (Joel) Burbrink; Nathaniel (Erica) Andis; Kevin Andis; Michelle Linn; and Rachael Linn; great-grandchildren: Christopher Burgess; Cody Andis, Kingen Burbrink; Ethan Andis; and Ava June Burbrink; and sister, Lola White of Noblesville.

Friends may call on Sunday, July 12 from 2 pm until 5 pm at Seals Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Fortville, and on Monday, July 13 from 10 am until 1 pm at First Church of the Nazarene in Indianapolis. A celebration of Vivian's life will immediately follow visitation at 1 pm at the church. Burial will immediately follow at Reeves Cemetery, Greenfield.
