MAN DIES IN CAR ACCIDENT

A Greensboro man was killed Saturday evening when he drove
his car into the path of an oncoming vehicle, the Highway Patrol said.
Arthur Lee Fleenor, 71, of 4115 Rose Drive
was driving west on Suffolk Trail, about 1 mile southwest of
Greensboro, about 7:30 p.m. Saturday. He pulled into the path of
another car at Old Onslow Road and was killed, the Highway Patrol
said.
Two people in the other car were injured,
but their names were unavailable Sunday, the Highway Patrol said.
Fleenor was wearing his seat belt.

Arthur Lee Fleenor, 71, of 4115 Rose Drive died Saturday at Moses Cone
Memorial Hospital.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at
Hinshaw Memorial United Methodist Church, of which he was a member.
Entombment will be in Guilford Memorial Park.
A Bristol, Va., native, he was a retired
employee of Litton Industries and a World War II veteran. He was a
member of the Hinshaw Memorial Upper Room Sunday school class and a
member of United Methodist Men's Fellowship.
Surviving are wife, Sarah J. Fleenor;
daughters, Mrs. Kay Adkins of Greensboro, Mrs. Janet Garrison of
Gastonia; sisters, Mrs. Crystal West, Mrs. Kathleen Tallman, both of
Bristol; brothers, Gerald Fleenor, Sherman Fleenor, both of Bristol;
two grandchildren.
