Obituary - Arvilla Rose (Bowhay) Hammond
Arvilla (Bidda) Rose Hammond, 64, of Manvel, Texas, formerly of Olney,
died Thanksgiving evening, November 22, 2007, at her residence.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. December 1 in Manvel, Texas.
Mrs. Hammond was born August 2, 1943, in Ponca City, Okla., the daughter of
Arthur and Adell (Durham) Bowhay. She married William (Bill) Mel Hammond on
September 26, 1959. He preceded her in death on August 18, 1985.
She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Taylor and her husband, Keith, of
San Antonio, Texas, and Connie Aucoin and her husband, John, of Manvel,
Texas; son, Phillip Hammond and his wife, Jennifer, of Pearland, Texas; and
grandchildren, Kyle Taylor and his girlfriend, Jackie Allahar, Caitlin and
Kristin Taylor, Aric, Tyler and Melanie Aucoin, Skylar Mundell, Cody, Caleb
and Marek Hammond and Jackie Berger.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sister, Carole Lewis.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for medical expenses
or to the American Cancer Society.
