Obituary - Betty Jo (Wessling) Edwards
BIOGRAPHYBetty Jo Edwards a resident of Mission, Texas passed away at her
home on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at the age of 89 years 3 months and 26
days. She was born on September 24, 1926 in Pharr, Texas to Herbert Irving
and Susan Elizabeth (Gibson) Wessling. Betty Jo Wessling married Ballard
Milton Edwards, Jr. in Edinberg, Texas on October 10, 1947.
Mrs. Edwards is survived by her daughter, Susan Edwards of Mission, Texas;
son, James Richard Edwards of Bryan, Texas; nephew, Jake Edwards and wife
Tommy of Caddo, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Lorene Edwards of Conroe, Texas and
Jason Edwards of Louisiana.
Mrs. Edwards was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Susan
Wessling; husband, Ballard Milton Edwards, Jr.
A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, January 23, 2016 at
the Gethsemane Cemetery in Caddo, Oklahoma with Jake Edwards officiating.
