Betty Mary Pannell
A Memorial Service celebrating the life of Betty Mary Pannell, 69, of Palm
Coast, will be celebrated on Monday, July 7, 2008, 7:00 p.m. at the chapel
of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road South, Flagler
Beach. Friends may visit from 6:00 p.m. until service time. Mrs. Pannell
passed away on Friday, July 4, 2008 at the Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House in
Palm Coast. She was born on January 7, 1939 in Springton, West Virginia to
the late William and Dolly Jane White (Graham). In 1958 she and her husband
moved to South Florida from Dayton, Ohio and in 2003, they moved to the Palm
Coast area. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bunnell, Order
of the Eastern Star, Amaranth, White Shrine of Jerusalem, Ladies Oriental
Shrine of North American and the Red Hat Society. Her hobbies included
knitting and reading. She is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years,
Jack. Survivors include her son, Timothy Pannell of Georgia; daughters,
Sharon Pannell of Palm Coast, Melitha and her husband, Danny Stevenson of
Kentucky; sisters, Mildred Worley of Palm City, FL, Ruby Hicks of Tennessee;
four grandchildren, Shirley Pannell, Erick McQuillen, Eric Bottoms, Amber
Sue McQuillen; and her beloved cat, Andy. Memorial contributions in her name
may be made to the First Baptist Church of Bunnell Building Fund, P.O. Box
365, Bunnell, FL 32110 or any other of her membership organizations.
