Bettye Aliene Partridge, 72, of 2405 Southeastern Parkway, Owensboro, died Thursday, Feb. 8, 1996, at Hermitage Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Spencer County, Ind., and was a retired homemaker. She was a member of Owensboro Christian Church, the Auxiliary of Gideons International and was a past member of Ben Hawes Ladies Golf Club. 

Survivors include her husband, Bill Partridge; two sons, Jack Hedges and Bryan Hedges, both of Owensboro; two daughters, Billie Sue Coble of Independence, Kan., and Sherri Gardner of Newburgh, Ind.; two stepsons, Bill Partridge II of Newburgh and Barry Kirk Partridge of Lafayette, Ind.; a stepdaughter, Kimberly Ann Partridge of Atlanta; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Allen J. Payton Jr. of Evansville. 

Services are at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at James H. Davis Funeral Home in Owensboro. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery in Rockport, Ind. Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to The Gideons International, P.O. Box 22518, Owensboro, KY 42304.
