Obituary - Brenda Sue (Wrightsman) Hamlin
Brenda Sue Hamlin, 68, of Spencer, passed away
Saturday, November 26, 2016 at IU Health Hospital in Bloomington. She was
born March 14, 1948 in Monroe County to Orville and Anita (Franklin)
Wrightsman, Jr. She attended Spencer High School. She retired from Cook Inc.
Sue was a member of the Spencer First Church of the Nazarene and Order of
the Eastern Star.
Sue is survived by two children, Garrison and Faith Hamlin, both of Spencer,
brothers, Richard “Pancho” Wrightsman (Debbie) of Spencer and Denver
Wrightsman (Beverly) of Spencer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 51 years, Donald
Hamlin, and a son, David Brent Hamlin.
Funeral services will be held at 11am on Friday, December 2, 2016 at Spencer
First Church of the Nazarene. Pastor David Warren will officiate. Burial
will follow at Valhalla Memory Garden in Bloomington.
Visitation will be from 4-8pm Thursday at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral
Home in Spencer and 10am until the time of the service at the church.
