Brian Richard Rollings, 38, of Terre Haute, passed away unexpectedly
Friday evening, Jan. 14, 2011, in his residence. He was born June 13,
1972, in Fort Ord, Calif., to Richard A. Rollings and Gloria J. Rogers
Rollings.
Survivors include his wife, Cathy Matherly Rollings, whom he married Dec. 1, 2001, in West Terre Haute; a daughter, Makayla Rollings; a stepson, Devin Matherly; his mother, Gloria Rollings and her companion Michael Somerville; his father and stepmother, Richard and Barbara Rollings; a sister, Terri Eaton and her husband, Chad; two stepsisters, Jenny Barnett, and Angie Darnall; his paternal grandparents, William and Josefine Rollings; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Gary and Rosie Matherly; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James and Norma Rogers.
He was a member of Greenwood Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Thursday in Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 N. Third St., in West Terre Haute, with the Rev. Buddy White officiating. Visitation will be 5 p.m. until service time Thursday. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Brian Rollings Memorial Fund.
