Obituary - Carolyn Ann (Phillips) Switzer

CREVE COEUR - Carolyn Ann (Phillips) Switzer, 71, passed away Friday, July 1, 2011, at her home, surrounded by her family and friends. 

She was born Jan. 21, 1940, in Terre Haute, Ind., to the late Orian B. Phillips Sr. and Idonia Connett Plunkett. 

She is survived by her children, Clifford (Carol), Elizabeth Etherton (Paul Hill), and Cynthia Johnson; her grandchildren, Cari Martinez (Leonardo), Clifford Switzer, Frederick France, Maranda Gray, Edward Gray and Cheyenne Johnson; a great-granddaughter, Eliza Martinez; siblings Richard Perry (Thelma), Janet Campbell, J. Lynn Currie (Susan), Mary Zeimann (Danny), Orian Phillips Jr., Darlene Phillips, Brenda Kris and Linda Kennedy; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

She was preceded in death by siblings Patricia Hayes, George Perry, Chris Phillips, and David Plunkett. 

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. EDT Wednesday, July 6, 2011, at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home in West Terre Haute, Ind. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park in Terre Haute, Ind. 

Visitation will be 4 to 9 p.m. EDT Tuesday and also from 9 a.m. EDT until service time Wednesday.
