Obituary - Carroll W Donner

DONNER, CARROLL "SMOKEY" Age 86, passed away Saturday March 22, 2014 after an extended illness. Born May 13, 1927 and raised in Ann Arbor, he enlisted in the Army while still in Ann Arbor High School and served in Germany during WWII. He was preceded in death by brothers, Vinton and Melvin. A sister, Clemance Ehnis survives, as well as many nephews and nieces. He enjoyed a variety of sports and outdoor activities. His career was spent in the printing business, retiring from Thomson-Shore in 1992. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place with internment in Bethlehem Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to St. Joseph Mercy Hospice.
