Obituary - Charles Fredrick Wiggins Jr
Newalla resident, Fred Wiggins Jr., 75, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2015 at
his home.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 28, 2015 at New Life Baptist Church
in Newalla with Pastor Jimmy Reed officiating. Burial will follow in Harrah
Memory Lane Cemetery.
Fred Wiggins Jr. was born March 26, 1940 in Kingston, Oklahoma to Charles
Fredrick Wiggins and Bessie Oleta (Nail) Wiggins. He attended Choctaw
schools. On June 12, 1958 he married Ruby (Birdsong) in Shawnee. He worked
as a finish carpenter. They bought a home on Lake Eufaula and lived there
for 28 years before moving to Newalla. Fred enjoyed working on cars,
fishing, and hunting.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter: Anita June Rider, 2
brothers: Clifford Eugene and Leroy Wiggins, and a sister: Virginia Ruth
Martin.
He is survived by: Wife: Ruby Wiggins of the home; Sisters: Margaret Hutton
and Jerrie Louise; and other family and friends.
