Obituary - Charlotte L (Baker) Stevenson

Charlotte Stevenson, 74, of Nampa, died on Tuesday, Oct. 5, 1993, at a Nampa retirement center. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 8, 1993, at the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa. Rev. Tom Larson, pastor of the Nampa First United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell. 

Charlotte Stevenson was born on October 1, 1919, in Washington. She was reared and educated in Washington, graduating from Castle Rock High School. She married Alvan Stevenson on June 18, 1939, at Chehalis, WA. Following their marriage they made their home in Castle Rock for a short time before moving to Denver, CO. In 1948 they moved to Montpelier, ID, later moving to Rupert and then to Burley. In 1969 they moved to Nampa where they have since resided. 

Charlotte was a member of the Nampa First United Methodist Church. In her earlier years she was a Cub Scout Den Mother and in later years assisted senior citizens In various activities. Charlotte and Alvan enjoyed many man and wife golf tournaments.

She is survived by her husband, Alvan Stevenson, Nampa; 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, Mark Stevenson, Cedar City, UT, and Dennis and Pam Stevenson, Lumberton, TX; and 4 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
