Obituary - Christopher Neil Henderson
Christopher Neil Henderson, 21, of Pleasant Plains died Saturday, November 14, 2009 in Searcy.
He was born in Searcy of August 22, 1988 and was the son of Brent Henderson and Rhonda Wilcox Smith.
He attended Bradford and Midland schools and later was very proud to have
received his GED. He worked for Wood Co and did railroad maintenance.
Christopher loved hunting and fishing and just being outside. He also loved
working around rodeos, 4-wheelin' and muddin'.
He was a loving, generous and very helpful person, but could also be very
strong-willed and mischievous.
He was a member of the Hutchison Mountain Church of Christ.
Christopher is survived by his father and step-mother, Brent and Tiffany
Henderson of Pleasant Plains; step-father, Carl Smith of Bradford;
step-sister, Christina Smith of Bradford; paternal grandparents: Jessie and
Carolyn Reynolds of Floral; maternal grandparents: Orvil and Donna Wilcox;
and step-grandparents: Ronnie and Judy Gay Moorefield, Mike and Carla Allen
of Floral, and Agnos Smith of Bradford.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ronda Wilcox Smith; grandfather, Bob
Henderson; and step-grandfather, Ebb Smith.
Pallbearers will be Ethan Carpenter, Blake Wilf, Jimmy Hannah, Skylar
Sutter, Heath Gwinn and Dusty Blevins. Honorary pallbearers are T'Ray
Rutledge and Mike Jones.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Palestine Cemetery at
Hutchison Mountain officiated by John Wilkins and Bill Grady.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday at
Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.
