Clebert Jess Duncan of 2445 E St. died Nov. 10 in Roseburg. He was born Nov. 7, 1908 in Winona, Mo., and was employed as a shingle weaver at Huntington Shingle Mill. Mr. Duncan was married on June 29, 1930 in Centralia, Wash., to former Leona McKinnley, who survives. He had lived in Springfield for the past 11 years and was a member of the Bethal Assembly of God Church. Besides his wife he is survived by a son, Donald of Castro Valley, Calif.; three daughters, Naomi Larson and Jeannette Smith, both of Centralia, Karen Brown of Eugene; nine grandchildren, one brother and four sisters. Funeral services will be held Friday, Nov 14, at 10 a.m. in the Bethal Assembly of God Church with the Rev. C.K. Barnes officiating. A graveside service and interment will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Sticklin Greenwood Cemetery at Centralia.
