Obituary - David John Fraser
David John (Davey) Fraser, 61, of Rocky Ford, CO, passed away Saturday,
January 18th, at Minnequa Medicenter, Pueblo.
David was born in Lake Charles, LA on May 10, 1958, a son of Elloise Maxine
(Ellis) Tatman and the late David Murray Fraser.
He graduated from Rocky Ford High School in 1976.
Growing up Davey was the oldest of 5 children and never missed a chance at a
quick witted comment. He played football, wrestled, and ran track in high
school. After graduation, he got into the flooring industry and was known in
the valley as a flooring extraordinaire. He showed diligence in perfecting
the seams!
Davey was a lifelong Green Bay Packers fan and his favorite player was Bart
Starr. This was followed by his passion for racing, specifically Nascar. One
of his favorite racers was Kevin Harvick. He took annual trips to PPIR and
Cripple Creek with his family. When it came to hobbies his favorites were
ping pong, foosball, and skiing.
Davey was the father to one daughter, Sarah, and they shared a special bond
including a common love for his grandson, Kaiden.
