Deana C. Kaylor, 61, of Duffield, VA, passed away on Thursday, April 26,
2012.
Born on January 18, 1951 in Kingsport, TN, Deana was a member of Thomas
Village Baptist Church in Duffield, VA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Henry Cox and Bea Page Cox;
and a sister, Carolyn Sue Hill.
She is survived by her husband, Lee Kaylor; daughter, Jennifer Ramey
and husband Michael, Boone, NC; grandchildren, Isaiah “Izzy” Ramey
and Rachel “Grace” Ramey, Boone, NC; brother, Carson Duane Cox and
wife Myra, Duffield, VA; mother-in-law, Jean Kaylor, brother-in-law
and sister-in-law, David and Martha McCampbell; niece, Audrey
McCampbell; niece, Nicky Griffin, husband Gerald and family; nephew, Tony
Fansler, wife Mary and family; special friends, Rosemary Cox and Joyce
Winegar; a host of other loving friends and family.
There will be no formal visitation at the funeral home, but the family will
receive friends at the residence of her brother, Carson Duane and Myra Cox.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 11 AM in the
Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Darrel Fletcher officiating.
Interment will follow in the Johnson and Head Cemetery, in the Robinette
Valley section of Duffield, VA.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Honorary pallbearer will be Isaiah “Izzy” Ramey
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family.
Colonial Funeral Home, Weber City, VA is in charge of arrangements.
