Delliah F. "Granny" Ketron Dishman, age 92, of Abingdon, VA went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at Bristol Health and Rehabilitation.

Delliah was born March 20, 1920 in Washington County, Virginia, a daughter of the late James P. and Meme E. King Ketron and was a lifelong resident of the Bristol area. 

She was a charter member of Central Baptist Church. 

In addition to her parents, Delliah was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Dishman, son, Johnny Dishman, daughter, Janie Dishman, granddaughter, Grace Brewer, great granddaughter, Nadia Dishman, brothers, Clarence Ketron, Charlie Ketron and Bill Ketron, sisters, Zelma Bowman, Rosa Hall and Nellie Lowe.

Survivors include:

Her daughters: Ann Hickman & husband Paul, Helen Brewer & husband Terry, Carol Brewer & husband Anthony
Son: James Dishman & wife Jane
Grandchildren: Michelle Dinkins, Janet Cornett, Stephen Dishman, Jim Dishman, John Dishman, Justin Dishman, Andy Brewer, Amy Thomas and Charles Dishman
Fourteen Great Grandchildren and Three Great-Great Grandchildren
Several Nieces and Nephews

The funeral service for Mrs. Dishman will be held at 8PM Saturday, December 8, 2012 in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Les Ketron and Rev. Paul Ketron officiating. 

The committal service and interment will be held at 2PM Sunday, in Ketron Family Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends from 6PM to 7:45PM Saturday, prior to the funeral service.
