Diana Lynn Hess Brewer, age 62, of Bristol, VA, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was born February 25, 1953 in Tazewell County, VA, a daughter of the late Zero and Lena Mae Taylor Hess. Diana lived in the Bristol area for the past 45 years. She was a former nursing aid for Abingdon Manor and Greendale Home. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Melissa; and siblings, Dalmer Hess, Baskin Hess, James Taylor Hess, Jacob Clyde Hess, Joey Lee Hess, Susan Kaiko Hess and George Junior Hess.
 
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Earl Brewer; sons, Michael Lee Brewer and fiance Emily Wyatt, Mickey Brewer and wife Elizabeth “Libby”, and Daniel Brewer and wife Noelle; grandchildren, Shelby Lynn Brewer, Michael Allen Brewer and James Lee Brewer; siblings, Betty Joe Denny and husband Gary, Maggie Reyonld Lowe, Helen Roberta Arnold Styles, Carolyn Joyce Hess Murray, Willie Wayne Hess and wife Peggy and Billie Lloyd Hess; special sister-in-law, Ora Brewer; her beloved dog, Millie; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
 
A funeral service will be held at 8 pm Sunday, June 14, 2015 in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Widner and Pastor Mike Dixson officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 pm to 8 pm prior to the service. The committal service and interment will be held at 2 pm Monday at Cedar Grove Cemetery. Those wishing to go in procession to the cemetery may meet at 1:15 pm Monday at Weaver Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Michael Lee Brewer, Michael Allen Brewer, Mickey Brewer, Charlie Dollar, Sam Reynolds, Joshua Murray, Frank Hess and Jacob Reynolds. Honorary pallbearers will be James Lee and Joe Hamilton. Floral tributes are welcome or memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society 508 Princeton Rd, Ste 102, Johnson City, TN 37601 or the American Stroke Foundation, 5916 Dearborn Mission, KS 66202.
