Obituary - Dominick K Leon
Dominick Leon, 84, of Tyler went to meet his heavenly Father on Nov. 23,
2011.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 27, 2011, at
Lloyd James Funeral Home in Tyler. The rosary will follow the visitation at
4 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, Nov. 28, 2011,
at 10 a.m. at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception with Father Juan
Rivera officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Dominick was born on May 26, 1927, in Powhatan, La., to the late Steve and
Jennie Leone. He was a longtime resident of East Texas and was owner and
president of Spur Machine Works.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 35
years, Betty Leon, and brothers, Sam Leone and John Leone.
He is survived by his children, Nickie Murchison of Dallas, David Leon of
Tyler, Susie and husband Delbert Vaught of Tyler, Nancie and husband Rusty
Hutson of Tyler, Lisa and husband Robert Lewis of Bullard, Angela Leon of
Chandler; his sisters, Mamie Jabia, Rosie Mondello, Laura Jabia, Lorenza
Fair; and brothers, Tony Leone and Joe Leone; and his grandchildren.
